I got selected as a Student Volunteer at SIGGRAPH 2009 at New Orleans, I am really excited but worried at the same time. I dont know what kind of things to expect or what they will ask me to do, I know they send you plenty of mails for the activities and the like, sigh~ but somehow is overwhelming the amount of stuff to catch up with. ( ; a ; ) on forums and info and presentations.

I'm nervous, I was wondering if anyone on my watch list is attending too? or attended to former siggraph events...?

I'll be there around New Orleans on August, lol I don't know if I'll have time to say Hi to my fellow artists there, but it would be cool. I hope it will be an awesome experience. OTL That reminds me I need my plane tickets NAO.
